Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, better known as Poison Ivy, is a prominent villain in the DC Comics universe, first appearing in Batman #181 (June 1966).
Originally a promising botany student, Isley was seduced and experimented upon by her professor, Dr. Jason Woodrue (later known as the Floronic Man). These experiments infused her with plant toxins, granting her chlorokinetic powers and a toxic touch.
